Matt - Green Ravens Horticulture
All my life I have had a deep interest and connection with nature, plants and animals. Having worked though a variety of different jobs it took coming through the other end of the pandemic to realise what my true passion in life was and so I decided to take the next step in my career towards working more closely with nature.
I am an experienced and qualified animal keeper specalising in reptiles, amphibian and aquatic creatures. I have combined this experience with my love of the outdoors and plants to try to create better natural habitats for our own native animals and wildlife, providing little spaces of nature in amongst the city.
Although I am primarily focused on creating wildlife enriching habitats I am also a keen garden designer and able to create designs for small front or back gardens to suit any taste or requirements.
I am also involved in education as a school gardener and run a gardening club and planting sessions with the aim to teach city children about the importance of nature and how to grow their own food.
